We are here to encourage you to maintain at least one plant in your home, as there are benefits of which you may not be aware.
Of course plants are on obvious connection to the natural world. This can be important when our lives comprise so much artificiality and disconnectedness.
Most importantly, caring for a housplant can be very enjoyable. The green color is an obvious indicator that you're doing well in caring for your plant. You will see a plant--properly cared for--grow and evolve over time. With longstanding care, you will develop a relationship of sorts with your tiny dependent.
Your leafy friend will of course be aesthetically pleasing, but it will also improve the air quality in your living space. Albeit on a small scale, the natural processes of plants do purify and improve air quality that we may otherwise take for granted. In an era where big business readily puts your wellbeing in the back seat, why not take charge and make changes where you are able?
Perhaps the most surprising and covert benefit of bringing 'Eve' indoors, is that you will be more productive.
One important element of self-care is your emotional stasis, and who doesn't enjoy feeling relaxed? Studies have shown, that people who have groomed their environment with plants and nature find themselves more comfortable and more at ease. Overall you will find that a smattering of greenry will improve your attention and ability to concentrate.
There are really no downsides. Given the minimal cost and investment of time and energy, you might be surprised that the results. You may be pleased with the person you become.
